Hi, Jay,
This time I'm writing to request prayers for my mother, Shirley G, who is 74 years young. She had a colonoscopy done this past Monday, and had 6 polyps removed. The one in her sigmoid colon showed possible cancer cells. She has an appointment on Monday to meet with the doctor who did her procedure. He's already told her that she needs to have a sigmoidoscopy within the next 4 weeks. Hopefully she'll be able to have it done next week. Please ask everyone to pray for her!
In addition, please add a dear friend, Eileen B, to our prayer requests. She is 89 years young and wants to go ski diving for her 90th birthday in July. She, too, is faced with possible colon cancer.
