Dear lovers of the Divine Will,
I am sending this special request out for a little nine-year-old girl - Hayley Quick. When Hayley's mum, Mel, was carrying the baby during pregnancy the doctors wanted her to abort the child. But Mel and her husband, Dave, would not do so. While they are not Catholic, they are good people of high principle. Hayley has had a very difficult nine years with many burdens to carry which have not only been difficult for Hayley but also for her family. I won't go into details here but suffice it to say that Hayley has required constant medical treatment over the years and it would appear that her whole life will be one of the struggles with illness. Mel is a wonderful example of what a lovely mother should be.
Tomorrow the 13th July, a 'Fatima Day', Hayley will undergo a difficult operation where the doctors are going to enter the brain and attempt to separate some sections they believe are causing increasing numbers of fits. Tricky surgery.
I am asking you to remember Hayley especially tomorrow - that she be protected from harm, that doctors be successful in their endeavours and that the family are also sustained by God's loving protection and strength during this time. I will be praying through the intercession of Luisa.
Please pass this intention on to family and friends.
Sending you all continued assurances of union in prayer - blessings, Fr. Peter
