UPDATE on Camella Borne Hebert: Doctor came in with results of the biopsy. It is lung cancer. One of her lungs has colapsed from all of the fluid and the reason she is in so much pain. No oncologist has come yet and they are waiting to see what protocol will be done. As of now, the PET scan does not appear to show cancer anywhere else. She is still in Heart Hospital and is very tired. She needs more prayers than ever as does her family, husband, Leland; sisters, Norma, Rita Fay, and Donna, son, Robbie and Chris. Hope Roy: dad(Joe Benoit) is back in the hospital. At Opelousas general he's urinating blood and they don't know where it's coming from.tomorrow they will run a scope and hopefully they will know something. all they know that there is a blood clot.

Quick update on dad, he had his scope done today. Shows inflamation where the intestines and stomach meet. One spot is leaking blood. Will be treated clear up the inflamation. Has to be taken off Coumadin and Plavix putting him at risk of more blood clots. One day at a time dear Lord, please keep the prayers going. God Bless you all and thank you.

Camella Borne Hebert is very tired. She has no energy, but she is going thru so many tests it is no wonder. Bob has to have surgery to his neck. He has 2 levels that have bulging disc with pinched nerves. For the last 3 weeks he has been suffering with numbness to the right arm with tingling in the fingers and loss of ability to hold things. He had hit his head on the top of the car when we had the head-on collision on 4-30-10. The MRI showed 2 areas that involved pinched nerves as well as bulging discs. These need to be repaired ASAP. We will have the surgery Tuesday, November 23 at LGMC.

Hello Everyone,

This is an update on Jacob, my sister's friend's son who we recently asked you to pray for.

Jacob and Joan (his mom) went to California to see a specialist who does experimental work with the degenerative, hereditary eye disease that Jacob has. They arrived on a Monday with return flights for Thursday. The approvals necessary for Jacob to receive this experimental treatment were not and have not been received (don't know the reason why). So Jacob and Joan had to change their tickets and return later than planned, without receiving any treatment, and having to pay a $1,000 change ticket fee. They did learn that Jacob's vision has gone from 20/40 to 20/300, making him legally blind. The other eye's vision has already deteriorated. He now must hold onto his mother's hand while walking. It was an extremely difficult week.

Back in NY at Joan's office folks started a fundraiser and raised $1,000...just the amount of the change fee for the airfare. Joan may be getting a promotion which they view as a positive event. Please continue to pray for strength for the family, for God's will regarding Jacob's eyes, and for Jacob who at the age of 13 or 14 (not positive) has such a burden to bear. Thank you for all the prayers to date. I will keep updating you as more information is available.

Please continue to pray for 7 year ol Blake Czerniski who is a student at John Bosco School. He is still in ICU in an induced Coma, because if he is taken out of the Coma he goes into severe Seizures. His doctors do not know what is causing this condition and at this time how to treat it. His MRI's have been normal. May our God the Father bless his doctors with the knowledge they need to treat Blake and heal him.

Please pray for Heather Jenson Ubiarco who is dealing with addictions of drugs and alcohol and is in rehab in California trying to rid herself of these addictions and return to a healthier way of life that will allow her to be able to return to work. May our God the Father give her the strength she needs to help her fight against these addictions and bring her back to Himself, so that He will surround her with angels to protect her from this way of life.

Please pray for Sara Diaz who is diabetic and had her leg amputated. She is also suffering from kidney failure and is in hospice. May our God the Father bless her with His powerful healing and Mercy and restore her to health.

Please continue to pray for Matts's father, Patrick and his mother Violet. Patrick suffered a major heart attack and had two stents placed into an artery and may have to have a stent placed into another blocked artery. Violet suffered a fall and is in a wheelchair, Patrick her husband was her caretaker. May our God the Father bless them both with quick and complete healings and restore them to health.

Please pray for our brother, Arnold Figueroa, who underwent prostate surgery this morning. Doctor said all went well and believe everything that needed to be removed was removed. May our God the Father bless him with a successful surgery and a quick and complete healing.

Please pray for Errol Chavez who has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. His family has gone through a lot lately, death in the family etc. May our God the Father bless him with successful treatments and a complete healing

Helen Danahy, Dan Milbocker’s sister, our good friend, passed away from complications due to a previous stroke. Let us pray for the repose of Helen’s immortal soul.



Brian, a Navy doctor who just returned from his tour of duty in Iraq, is suffering from severe depression. He is a father of three small children, yet his wife is seeking a divorce. He is also in therapy. Let us pray to our good, compassionate, holy, loving and merciful to lay His Healing Hand upon Brian and to also help his wife honor her marriage vows. Brian needs her support now more than ever.

Thelma Deatharidge, a very good friend of ours and former member of our prayer cenacle, has been in remission from Lymphoma for several years, Yesterday, I spoke with her at the Basilica and she told me that her cancer has returned. Let us pray to our good, loving and merciful God to grant Thelma special graces to overcome her cancer once more. “For God, nothing is impossible.” (Lk 1: 37)


Blossom Turner, the sister of a good friend of mine, Heidi Martin, passed out in her home and was taken to the hospital. She is the devoted wife and mother of a small child. Let us pray that Blossom’s condition is not serious.



Sara Edelman, a young woman in her 30’s and for whom we had prayed and survived cancer, died suddenly from an apparent heart attack. Fr. Robert Malagesi celebrated her Mass of Resurrection at St. Rita’s Church this morning. Let us pray for the repose of her immortal soul.



Helen Santana, a friend of Julie Holmes, my good friend in Emmitsburg, MD, has been taken to the hospital with a rare form of cancer. Let us pray to our Heavenly Father that He will help her doctors to accurately diagnose her medical condition and provide Helen with appropriate treatment.



Micah James Manatan-Blanca, a small baby boy born weeks prematurely on October 31, 2010, has suffered a level four bleeding of the brain. His doctors are fearful that he may have brain damage. More tests are scheduled for Friday tomorrow. Let us pray to our good and merciful God to lay His Healing hand upon this baby so that he may be restored to complete health.



Ryan and Eric, sons of a woman whom I met at the Basilica of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, has asked to pray for her sons so that they will return to their Catholic faith. They are 27 and 24 years old respectively.



Aunt Theresa Miller, my dear aunt, is still in Encore Nursing care. When I spoke with her a few days ago, she was very tired. Let us continue to pray that our good and loving God will strengthen my aunt so that she may continue to resume her usual daily activities.



Let us continue to pray for those who are unemployed, for an end to abortions, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, an end to terrorism throughout the world, holy vocations to the priesthood and religious life, for all those who are adversely affected by natural disasters and the for the poor and the homeless.

Please pray for 45 year old Asia Bibi, mother of five, who lives in Pakistan, because she is a Christian she has been falsely accused of Blasphemy against Mohammed, and is being persecuted for her faith. She has been sentenced to death by hanging and has been held in prison since June 2009. Her Case is in appeal. May our God the Father touch the hearts of those accusers and stop this killing of this innocent woman. May she be freed and allowed to live.
