Just received this regarding Kyle Hurd – he went HOME last night!!!

Kyle's been texting his progress today. He walked 65 steps this afternoon. He's been to the pulmonary lab, and he doesn't need oxygen. They're pulling the trach, and HE'S COMING HOME TONIGHT. WOOHOO!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you God!

I've been playing phone tag with social workers, medicaid, PICU nurses, etc., but the effort has all been worth it since we will be able to pick him up in about 4 hours. He's too healthy to keep any longer, so they'll finish up discharge paperwork and then cut him loose. Thanks everyone for your prayers during the past 37 days, we are so blessed and we're grateful!
