Well, what was suppose to be a quick check on mom to determine if this less invasive surgery was an option, turned out to be more that they let on. The option of removing the cancerous polyp internally is no longer an option, nor is the surgery to remove part of the colon where it is located. They found another cancerous one near it and she is bleeding. We are waiting to hear tomorrow about the scheduling of a barium x-ray, and when they find out the results, the family will be called in. They are planning on doing a major surgery before the holidays, and we understand that to be before Thanksgiving.
