My daughter Lisa called me in tears, our Katelin has Swine Flu, she had to be taken in for testing due to her case history and her friend who sits with her in school also has it. She is doing OK right now but they are keeping an eye on her to make sure pneumonia or another infection doesn't take hold as they feel the secondary infection is what is taking a lot of kids down. burned on 60% of his body. Prayers needed.

Also, while praying for this burn victim, pray for a young boy in Florida who was burned by other boys.....
and is in critical condition.

God help us.

I just spoke with Chris and she is not well.

Chris is asking for pray for the following; For pain, for the medication to work, for the doctors to have the knowledge for the right treatment, to be able to eat and maintain the food down. Chris said thank you for all the Cards, Flowers and Prayers as well as the phone calls. Chris is not talking on the phone she does not have the strength.

So now we need some Heavy Duty Prayers to get Chris up and going, we don't want to see her readmitted to the hospital which could happen by the weekend.
God will hear us and God will answer us by having Chris on her feet by the weekend.

She is extremely weak I only spoke with her about 3 minutes so you know she is weak if she cannot carry on a conversation for 30 or 45 minutes. LOL

Peace in Jesus Christ! This upcoming weekend, October 16-18, the Archdiocese of San Antonio is sponsoring a Marriage Preparation Weekend. There will be many couples coming who are uncatechized about God’s plan for marriage. We expect that many of them have been living together before marriage, engaging in non-marital genital relations, and generally not striving for the life that Christ calls us to live. Please pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon all those who enter into this weekend. Pray for a breaking of the bonds of slavery to sin and for an opening of their hearts to the love of Christ the Bridegroom. Pray for protection from the distractions of the Evil One, as well as their safe travel to and from the retreat center. Pray that they may be as receptive as Our Blessed Mother, so that God may impregnate them with His own life.
