They initially thought it was SIDs but he confessed. She is almost 2 months pregnant and after hearing the news, she is so devastated and in shock, she said she does not want to keep the baby.

Dear Prayer Groups,
I have been praying for many years for our children who are fallen away Catholics to return to the church. It is not happening. They are adults, married, well educated and have children. Please pray they return to the Catholic Church and begin practicing their Catholic faith again. Please pray our newest grandchild is baptized in the Catholic Church very soon. It has been too long. Please pray for me too. I am depressed over this situation.

Also, my husband and I are having a test done at the hospital on Thursday to detect if we have any blockages in and/or around the heart. My husband is very worried. Please pray he will be healthy. Please pray for me too.

Thank you for your prayers for us. I would like you to know that the prayers for our children are more important to me than anything. Of course, I want my husband to be healthy, but not practicing the Catholic faith is not good.

A while ago we asked you to pray for a Patricia B--a forty yr. old mother of a ten yr. old. She had fallen down a flight of cement stairs and her head cracked open like a cantelope. She was just taken off life support after extensive brain surgery and she is moving on her own. She has just opened her eyes on command. E

That Jesus have mercy on my daughter, that her eyes, mind, and heart be open to all Our Lord's graces, so that she will have the strength to give up the life style she is leading and give up drugs and alcohol. Amen. S

Some of you may know Fr. Dick Tomasek, SJ; other may not (yet). But I am begging your prayers for his recovery. This dear man-of-God and very special personal friend of many of us, has spent his Jesuit life, in large measure, helping others through his spiritual direction both at the Pontifical College of the Josephinum and also at the North American College in Rome. A couple weeks ago, upon his return from Rome, he underwent a physical and was immediately sent to the hospital for open-heart surgery whereupon a tumor, larger than a golf ball, was removed and a valve replaced. Sadly, the medical reports have shown the tumor to be, in Father’s words, “a not pretty cancer” – and, though he sounds his usual peacefilled and FAITHfilled self, I am asking all of you to STORM HEAVEN and God’s mercy to heal this marvelous priest in this Year of the Priests!! Beg our Heavenly Mother and our saintly John Paul II – perhaps the Divine FATHER wishes to allow this son to be JPII’s ‘miracle’ for canonization!! In any case, we simply want Father well as we NEED him and love him. He is with his Jesuit Community in WI. Please pray and ask others to as well. Thank you….I know you will!!

Brother Thomas's condition has improved slightly because of everybody's prayers. However, we have to continue praying powerfully for him. Let us continue with reciting the chaplet at 3:00pm for him. All ministry members should recite at 3:00pm today wherever we are. Sr. Markeita has asked for the following intentions to be lifted today in our prayers:
His hands and legs are now moving slightly. He is able to open his mouth somewhat to talk. Please continue praying that he is able to move his body fully
His brain bleeding has gone down a bit but has not yet stopped. Please pray for bleeding of brain to stop completely
He has a big scan tomorrow which will decide the next course of medication and improvement. Please pray that this scan comes completely clear
He has fever. Doctors are worried that the fever may reach the brain and may complicate things. Please pray that the fever does not reach the brain and is healed completely
Please continue to show your acts of mercy through prayers. Those who can fast and pray, I encourage you to do so. God will bless you in a mighty way. Let us offer masses, chaplets, rosaries, fasts, or any other prayers we can for the complete healing of Br. Thomas

Every day we offer the rosary for the sick, the desparate, those being persecuted in Jesus name, the Church, the Pope, priests and nuns, the poor, world peace, those dying every minute, the souls in purgatory, for our own sins too, for forgiveness of us, the family and all families, for the homeless, the depressed and those who are mourning the loss of loved ones.
I will offer my prayers for all these requests you emailed. I was keen to have particular readings for healing, especially family problems, separation, conversion. I find a lot of praises in the psalms. If you could guide me, I would appreciate it. I do praise and thank God even when things go wrong.
